Jenna Fischer's most famous part is as Pam Beesly in the highly loved television series The Office. She received 2 SAG Awards and an Emmy for her outstanding performance by the comedy's ensemble.
Her mother, Anne played in plays at church as a child and instilled a passion of theater and performance in Jenna. Jenna was inspired by her mom's church performances at the time she started her journey.
Fischer is an actress who has the theater background. In Off-Broadway's play Reasons To Be Happy composed by Neil LaBute with Josh Hamilton and Leslie Bibb as co-stars, Fischer was the lead. The play was followed by her participation as the first woman to appear in Steve Martin's newest play Meteor Shower, an absurdist comedy opposite Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg, for a record-breaking show in The Old Globe Theatre.
In the month of October, Fischer and The Office actor and friend Angela Kinsey started an online podcast called Office Ladies on the Earwolf platform. The podcast has since been a huge success, landing within the Top Ten globally every week and receiving over 200 million downloads within the first two years. Office Ladies received the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year Award in January 2021.
