Anne Phung Nguyen

My name is Anne Phung Nguyen and I am an Vietnamese American entrepreneur residing in gorgeous Orange County California with my amazing husband JP and happy go lucky Dad Henry. A lot of people know me on Instagram, where I chronicle my adventures ranging from upwards to the downwards. I came to America with my brother and parents at the age of one and a half years young. I'm not living my life and sharing it for you were it not since my parents were devoted to dedication and hard work. In order to give them the chance to have a successful future, I focused on success and worked hard to achieve it. My plan of life was for me to attend university, find work in a corporate as well as marry and then buy the house. Though I believed that this was the definition of success, life had different strategies. The money and the status of my work didn't make me feel happy. I felt as if I had wasted my time for the opportunity to earn a salary. The passion I have for fitness as well as my love of socializing with other people led me to find my new calling as a personal trainer. I began my business in 2014. My company is celebrating its seven-year anniversary in this calendar year. It is rare to find Asian women working in this industry. To lead in my industry and to offer quality coaching, to help others live a happier and healthier life by creating a healthy lifestyle to their specific needs and to reach their goals. Additionally, I want to encourage individuals to follow their dreams and do all they wish to achieve in their lives. When my business was taking the air and I was advancing, my mom passed away. This loss is the hardest of all. To be in Heaven she is now in peace in peace after a long battle with Scleroderma. Yet, I keep my Mom with me and dream of her daily. Life's lessons are often hidden from us, but they can be very valuable. My mother's death has changed my life in a profound way and I believe she gave me a second chance in life. When she passed away on Tet/Lunar New Year Day it was time for her to begin her next life and for me to have my second chance of living the most happy, joyful and meaningful life. What I'm experiencing now in my 30s is a feeling of awe and vitality. It's like I am truly living, instead of just being. My story is made available to me so that I may share with you my experiences as well as my words. It will allow you to know you're not alone. You're capable of achieving anything you want in your life. Therapy is vital and normal. The health of a person is the most important wealth. Only one life is yours. I want you to enjoy it to the max.
