Gerina-Piller

She was born on the 29th of March, 1985 in Roswell New Mexico. Her name was Gerina Mendoza. Gerina Stevenson was born to Mexican parentage Rita Stevenson (mother) and Alan Stevenson (father). Her parents are Mexican as well as American. At a very young age the desire for her to be involved in sports was evident. Gerina was a golfer for the first time at age 15. Gerina was a student at Goddard High School. In high school, she won the New Mexico golf state tournament. Also, she was a volleyball player who competed at the national level. She was enrolled at Texas's University of Texas, Texas, for the 2003 academic year. As a senior, she was a winner in every tournament she took part in. Through her college years she was awarded an award called the Conference USA Player of The Year Award as well as the Female UTEP Sports Athletics Award.
